LINK: InToscana.it Official Website of Tuscany
www.intoscana.it is Tuscany’s official portal. It has been created by Fondazione Sistema Toscana, itself a foundation created by the Region of Tuscany and the Monte dei Paschi di Siena bank, for the purpose of increasing the spread of multimedia and to exploit new technologies to the full for the promotion of this region in Europe and the rest of the world.
We have designed this space like a preferred workshop in order to understand how Tuscany is changing and to provide, also to anybody not living there, an always up-to-date and precise image of how things really are in Tuscany. It is pleasing to imagine that all this appears to you like a large virtual city square where many topics and aspects of Tuscany are gathered together. From those well known and prized ones such as the culture, traditions and landscape to those of innovation, research and development.
From now on this is another way to “access” Tuscany.

LINK: Getting married in Scarperia
Scarperia is one of the most interesting historic centres in the Mugello area. The hamlet was built as a sort of Florentine outpost along the via Bolognese. The heart of the hamlet of Scarperia is the Palazzo dei Vicari, a residential palace dating back to the fourteenth century, stark and turreted on the side looking onto the square and a fortress at the rear. Today it also houses the Museum of Knives and the succession of restoration work has made it resemble the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. In the Mayor’s office, civil weddings may be celebrated in a very picturesque backdrop.

LINK: Resort Villa Rosa di Boscorotondo, Panzano, Tuscany |
Leccio is an ancient tower house that was built in 1200 and transformed into a Villa in the eighteenth century by the family Landi who had acquired it in the 1500s. The noble Villa rises in a park full of age-old holm oaks in a homely landscape abounding in vineyards and olive groves, the views of which can be fully enjoyed in the tranquillity of the splendid swimming pool.
The history of this Villa comprises the Landi family history as they have resided there for over seven generations. The recent restoration has brought to light the splendour of the inside lounges, nearly all decorated with frescos, adding to its warm and friendly atmosphere. |
|
Villa Rosa di Boscorotondo is a small country resort located in the heart of the Chianti area 35 km (20 miles) from Florence, 30 km from Siena, surrounded by vineyards and woods.
The towns of Radda, Panzano and Castellina are close by.
All the rooms have private bath rooms and there is plenty of plenty of common spaces inside and outside.
There is a swimimg pool on the the hillside to cool off during the summer also.
There is a parking area in front of the Villa. A four course home-cooked dinner is available on request. Otherwise there are several good restaurants in the surroundings.
Cooking classes for small groups are available on request. We offer also a complimentary wine tasting in the adjoining winery to our guests. |
